What are clinical note templates?

Each template can pre-populate any field its specialty cares about (wires, elastics, IPR for ortho; instructions and notes for any specialty). Templates are scoped to a specialty and an appointment subtype so the chips you see at the chair are always relevant.
Can different doctors have different templates?
Templates live at the clinic level today, so all doctors share the same library. Each clinic in a multi-location group has its own set.
Do templates overwrite the notes I have already typed?
No. Applying a template only fills fields that are currently empty. If you have already typed an upper wire size, tapping a template will not change it - only blank fields are populated.
Does Kythro come with ready-made templates?
Yes. Starter packs are provided for ortho (12 templates), restorative (4), hygiene (3), endo (2), and perio (2). One click from Settings → Clinical templates seeds the packs that match your clinic's enabled specialties. Owners can edit or delete any of them.
